VERTICAL FARMING
Applying conservative estimates to current demographic trends, the world population will increase 3 billion by 2050. An estimated 109 hectares of new land (about 20% more land than the size of Brazil) will be needed to grow enough food to feed them, if traditional farming practices continue. At present, throughout the world, over 80% of the land that is suitable for raising crops is in use and historically, ~15% of that has been laid waste by poor management practices.

Vertical farming is believed to help address these issues. B'BOX Group has succeeded in creating innovative vertical farming practices, specifically when related to the production of stevia and other agricultural plants.
